Linda Agresta will explain the history of Government Funded Education in Manatee County, including the Veterans G.I. Bill, Literacy Help and Migrant Education. Linda spoke to us some years ago on the history of Migrant Education in Manatee County. This will be a broader scope, but it looks to be just as fascinating.

Our Annual Picnic! This year we will visit the Terra Ceia Village Improvement Association (VIA) Hall. Speakers Bill Burger and Cathy Bayless Slusser will tell us of the prehistoric and historic settlement of the island.
