Help us save the historic Vanderipe House!

Part of the Old Manatee community since 1886, when it was built by William H. Vanderipe, it was moved to the Manatee Village Historical Park in February 2008 with financial help from the Manatee County Histrorical Society.

Now, settled safely in the park, roof repaired, the old home still needs work.Stairs, bathrooms and windows all need work.

Help save the Vanderipe House – Please Sponsor a Window.

Now we are seeking funds to secure the doors and the 16 windows. Old houses do not take the modern discount-priced ready-made windows, so it all must be hand made. Each window will cost about $550 for materials and labor.
